We are not an urgent care but we provide urgent care services. We are a primary care facility that provides a range of services including annual well visits, in house labs, and urgent care services. We can provide same day urgent care services. This means we can not bill your insurance as an urgent care but we can provide the same treatment.
About Our Facility
Gretna Medical Center in the heart of the Westbank houses multiple facilities that can meet your health care needs. We are a primary care facility that takes urgent care patients as we are open 7 days a week. This means we can not bill your insurance as an urgent care but we can provide the same level of treatment. We also take walk-on patients. Our facility also includes a pediatric doctor and can do a wide variety testing. We can handle a number of procedures that includes, x-rays, school physicals, CDL physicals, and immigration physicals. Urgent Care
Most people don’t require an emergency room visit and keep in mind that ER visits are very expensive. Come to us first to help determine how seriouse your symptoms are.
Pediatric Care
We offer top-quality medical care for children of all ages. We offer a wide variety of services for this precious age group including immunizations, and sick visits.
Early Cancer Detection
Our clinic will help screen you for early cancer detection. A provider can offer you a consultation and our clinic can use a Galleri test to help detect over 50 forms of cancer.
Civil Surgeon Exam
We are proud to be licensed in the state of Louisiana and the city of New Orleans as a civil surgeon to ensure seeking lawful permanent residence in the U.S. is admissible on public health grounds.
In-House Laboratory
Thanks to our advanced on-site laboratory, we can perform same-day EKG’s, blood-work, and X-ray imaging so you’ll get the treatment you need at one location.
